INSTRUCTION

This task is the continuation of the previous 2 task. We were tasked to make the entire page of the home page design that we have created.

I did a bit of change here and there even though I still followed the basic of the design from the sketch. The hardest part for me was making the sliding carousel. It was so hard to do without javascript. I found a video that actually helped me, however there are few errors that I could not fix so I just ended up not really changing anything for the carousel part so it won't get more broken.

This is the carousel that I was talking about:

for the menu card, I also looked for it in youtube. it doesn't look that classy however it's still cute and neat so I don't think its that bad.

The cards are cute and it has a heart and stars as well.

This is the html for the menu page:

Next one is the service page. In this page I put the different kinds of service they offered and also the workers there and a bit of "what they say" session.

At first I intended to put another slider for the host & waiters session. I watched a tutorial in youtube and I already used the source code but the javascript still did not work and I had no idea why, so I just changed it into columns. It still looks acceptable and not bad.

As for the upper contents, I just used the usual row columns, aside left and aside right. Nothing too special.

Here is the html for the service:

The next one is about us. When I made this page it was near deadline and I didn't know on what to add. I ran out of ideas so I just copy pasted the stuff they wrote in the original Tous Les Jours website. There are not much content inside, but I still tried to make it look classy and neat.

This is the html for the about us:

The last page was supposed to be contact us page. However, since this is an event website and many the customers are encouraged to join the event through booking, I turned the contact us into a booking page.

I didn't look much for the booking page because I didn't have enough time anymore. So I ended up looking through form in bootstrap to make it easier. I modified the box a bit so it matches my aesthetic and I think the result was looking not bad.

FEEDBACK

When I first came to seek for his advice because my responsive did not work well, Mr. Shamsul said that he will help me fix the website but in the end he did not answer me. So there are many parts of the website that are not responsive because I could not make all of them looking nice and neat.

REFLECTION

This gotta be one of the biggest challenge I got for this semester. I feel like I just speed run a whole 2 semesters. I tried to seek for help from my IT friends in Indonesia, and funnily they are now doing the same project as me. The difference is they have probably learnt it from the first semester and I just learnt this 2 months ago. It is very stressful especially when you try to follow tutorial for so long and it didn't work. However, it is still satisfying once the website is done.
