Project 1
We started this project by designing the prototype of the landing page. Project one is to submit a design prototype for my website.
Mr. Shamsul gave us announcement to decide on what kind of microsite that we wanted to create. Microsite is basically like a sub-site of a website that can be used for any additional information to support the original website.
For this project, I decided that I'm gonna go with bakery and pastry shop.
After knowing the definition of microsite, I decided to make an event from this cafe. I had 2 ideas, the first one is a microsite to explain in details about the dishes they sell, for example like the details about croissant, ciabatta bread, etc. The second idea is an event microsite where this cafe is currently holding an afternoon tea party event.
After collecting the ideas, I immediately went to my sketch ipad to sketch my ideas. Here are my sketches:

Mr. Shamsul said that he was very satisfied with my work. He said that it is neat and clean. He prefer the second one. After that he told me to plan on the colors.
However, I had a problem which is about the pictures. I can't really plan on the colors since the pictures I can access is limited. I can't take images from Pinterest and can only take pics from several websites.
The first thing I did was looking for an image first. I couldn't find a nice and neat looking images with the same style unless for this mooncake one. So I decided to go with Mooncake Festival Afternoon Tea Party.
This is my result:
I showed this to Mr. Shamsul and he said that it is good enough and it is ready to be submitted. He only told me to change the next arrow and the type size of the footer.
Right after, I made the ppt.
Project 2
For the second project, I took so long to make the website because I couldn't make it responsive. I also tried to add few interesting feature like a little animation to make the website more attractive. However, since my knowledge is very limited, I couldn't exactly just do anything that I wanted.
I ended up watching youtube for so long just to find that my website is not working with the code that I typed from youtube. Very stressful. In the end, I finished it together with the final project.

Mr. Shamsul said that it is looking good and I should proceed with project 2. He only told me to change the next arrow for the carousel and the font size of the footer. So I changed it in the actual website.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
This project was real tough. I honestly can't imagine how it would be to finish the entire website. I already had a mental breakdown just to finish this single website. I tried to ask for so many help, tried to do this and that but there are still some flaws that I could not fic. Wish me luck in the next task.
