REFLECTION
Initially, I was really excited about this module, especially knowing that we would be involved in organizing the showcase. After hearing Sir Asrizal's briefing on team division, I was eager to join the design team, as I felt it was my strongest area. I’m not particularly skilled in video editing, managing expenses, and I don’t have a vehicle, so design seemed like the perfect fit. However, when the admin team was being selected, I unexpectedly volunteered to be the vice president. I thought I wanted to gain new experience, but it didn’t turn out the way I expected. When it came time to choose teams, it seemed like many people wanted to be on the design team, so I decided to let them have those spots. In the end, Michelle (treasurer), Britney (president), and I joined the Marketing team.
As the module progressed, I realized that I struggled to keep up with Britney and likely didn’t perform well in my role. I tried to attend every meeting and stay updated, but I often felt lost. When I did take on tasks, I didn’t execute them well and made several mistakes. I deeply regret not doing better and am incredibly grateful to Britney and my friends for their support throughout.
Regarding the Marketing team, I felt that Michelle, Azka, and I collaborated fairly well. The three of us were still learning, so we relied heavily on each other. I tried to help as much as possible to fulfill my responsibilities as vice president. Although our efforts weren’t perfect—we didn’t secure sponsors, and our fundraising didn’t go as planned—we gave it our best. I hope to learn from this experience and improve in the future, particularly in task management.
