REFLECTION

Experience: It's been a roller coaster. I'm actually not against the tasks at all, some of them are actually fun to do. However, my biggest challenge was actually trying to match Mr. Vinod's style. I have gone through some time to the point that I have accepted the fact that my style is not the same as his, not that my works are bad. Every time I don't get feedbacks that I expected, I got sad, but then again I always try to tell myself, it doesn't matter as long as I have tried my best and I'm satisfied with my own result. However, this could be a use of practice for me in the working field when dealing with clients. I also noticed how I mostly learn and did everything in this module by looking in the internet, never really learnt anything that was beneficial for my tasks from Mr. Vinod's lecture or at class.

Observation: Personally, the task that I enjoyed the most was actually the final task. It would be better if I had more time though, I did everything last minute, I still wish to continue the uppercase of my font in the future. The one that I did not enjoy at all was Type & image. I hated it so much, I just don't like using photoshop. I am too used to Illustrator and I had no idea on how to edit pictures with texts like that. We used to do something similar in Semester 1, but it was simpler. Moreover, Mr. Vinod did not teach us anything, I ended up watching tutorials for so fucking long, I was actually so mad xD.

Finding: The overall experience, it was not that bad. At least not as bad as this particular module, I would say that Typo is still in my top 2 favorite module for this semester. The works are not as bad, it was still within the right capacity, not too confusing, and pretty experimental as well. Hopefully this module will help me in the future.
